All Ivor Searle reman engines are covered by a transferable nationwide 12 month unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty. All engines are tested prior to final inspection and dispatch. All units are supplied with pre-installation guidelines and model specific instructions if required.

Reman engines

Unlike most reconditioned, exchanged, rebuilt, repaired or replacement engines, our remanufactured engines are built to the BS AU 257:2002 standard set by BSi.

We remanufacture a wide range of engine makes, both petrol and diesel, including Audi, Citroën, Ford, Renault, Fiat, Iveco, Isuzu, Mazda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Rover, MG, LDV, Mercedes, Nissan, Seat, Suzuki, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo, predominantly for light commercial vehicles and cars.

Our remanufactured, British classic and Power Plus engines are fitted with the following brand new components:

Ivor Searle offers a unique service for the remanufacture of cherished British makes:

Our specialist remanufacturing skills and modern equipment allow us to refurbish classic engine models to tighter tolerances and finer surface finishes which, in turn, give improved emissions, increased reliability, longer service life and enhanced performance.

Every engine is converted so that it can run on either unleaded or leaded fuel and is validated in purpose-built test cells prior to dispatch.

We also produce increased performance engines for this group of classic British makes. We manufacture our Ivor Searle Power Plus engine range by utilizing a combination of over-boring, cylinder head and camshaft modification, dynamic balancing and performance components.
